Pull up a chair…

Let’s talk. Each spring, I take time to reflect on what needs “cleaning out”—not just in my home and studio, but in my life as well. One question I come back to again and again is this: what is keeping me from spending time with the Lord, and are my priorities truly aligned with His?

I’m reminded of a dear friend from high school who, for a short time, lived across the street from me. We were both in the thick of motherhood—I had two little boys, and she had four young children of her own. One morning, I knocked on her door, and her oldest answered. When I asked if I could see her mom, she replied, “My mom is having her time with God. She told us that if we give her just 20 minutes each morning with Him, she’ll be a much better mommy. So we don’t interrupt her time with God.”

Wow. That moment has stayed with me all these years. Not only had she aligned her priorities with the Lord, but she was also setting a powerful example for her children. She impacted them—and me—in ways she may never have fully realized, but God was using her faithfulness in such a meaningful way.

I began to wonder how God might use me to inspire both myself and others to spend consistent time with Him. What could I create? What tools might help remove the barriers or excuses that so easily get in the way?

That’s what led me to create my Devotional Journals, now available in my studio, my website shop and on Amazon. My hope is that they serve as a simple, meaningful resource to encourage daily time with the Lord. Each journal comes in three different cover designs, with thoughtfully laid-out pages inside created specifically for personal devotional time.

Every page includes space to write a Scripture, reflect on its meaning, and record your prayers and the ways God is working in your life.

No more excuses—just a gentle invitation to show up each day. I’m on my way to building a consistent time with God, and I hope you’ll join me.
